Time changes, and the glory of the world is renewed day by day. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd.'s establishment and the 25th anniversary of its restructuring. We bid farewell to a challenging journey and welcome the year 2025, where hope and dreams intertwine. At this beautiful moment of renewal, I wish everyone a happy New Year! The year 2024 that has just passed has been a magnificent one, facing many complexities, challenges, and rigors: from an international perspective, the adverse effects of external environmental changes have deepened, the Russia Ukraine war and the ongoing game between China and the United States continue, trade protectionism, unilateralism, and geopolitical conflicts are intertwined, increasing uncertainty in the operation of the world economy; From a domestic perspective, China's economic operation still faces many difficulties and challenges. Over the past year, with everyone's joint efforts and relying on their resilience and wisdom, the company's output value and sales revenue have both exceeded 1 billion for the first time, and its comprehensive income has also exceeded that of 2023, achieving the goals set by the shareholders' meeting and the workers' congress.
Entering a new year, the Zhilin factory area is about to enter its final stage, and the last production line will be installed and debugged in 2025. From 2020 to 2025, after 6 years, the 6 production lines in the Zhilin factory area will be fully put into operation, with an expected production capacity of 60000 tons. The company will enter a new historical development stage. In the new year, the Polyester Business Unit will launch a technological transformation project to further eliminate chicken rib products, optimize product structure, and enhance the profitability of the old factory area. At the same time, a new journey will begin. In order to cope with the adverse impact of tariffs imposed by Europe and the United States on product exports, the company has decided to go abroad and invest in building a new factory in Vietnam. Currently, land has been purchased in Chenggong Industrial Zone, and all subsequent processes are in full swing. 2025 is the final year of the 14th Five Year Plan. We are in a period where historical opportunities and risks coexist. However, I firmly believe that the difficult road is uphill, and the difficult ship is the headwind. The more complex the situation is, the more we must grasp the general trend, take active actions, maintain the high fighting spirit of knowing the heavy burden and facing challenges, summarize the work of the past year, conscientiously implement the work requirements put forward by the Workers' Congress (Shareholders' Meeting), and focus on product quality and safety production.
