
On February 26th, Changshu Polyester held two batches of 2026 resumption of work safety education and signing of safety responsibility agreements, fully deploying post holiday resumption of work and production safety work. Chairman and General Manager Cheng Jianliang presided over the meeting and gave a special lecture on macro safety knowledge. Gu Hongda, General Manager of the Polyester Business Unit, and Qian Zhiqiang, General Manager of the Lida Business Unit, analyzed the current safety situation and clarified annual work tasks based on the actual situation of each business unit. All employees of the business unit, members of the safety committee, and relevant personnel from functional departments attended the meeting.
In order to implement the relevant requirements of the Safety Production Law and the Emergency Drill for Emergencies, and to enhance the evacuation and escape capabilities of employees in the event of a fire, Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd. organized an emergency evacuation drill on February 11th. The Polyester Division and Lida Division conducted the drill in an orderly manner at 12:00 and 13:00 on the same day, with a total of 357 employees from both divisions participating in the drill.
In order to enhance the ability of employees to deal with sudden accidents, Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd. conducted two emergency drills on February 3, 2026, focusing on the leakage and injury accidents of biphenyl furnaces. The on-site operators and relevant leaders of the spinning and winding sections of Lida Business Unit and Polyester Business Unit participated in the drills to promote prevention and strengthen safety barriers.
