On October 20th, the Changshu Fire Rescue Brigade organized Dong Bang, Mei Li, and Zhi Tang fire brigades to enter Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd. and conduct a practical fire emergency drill. Previously, the head of Dongbang Fire Brigade came to the factory to have in-depth communication with relevant leaders of the company, to gain a detailed understanding of the factory layout and prepare in advance for the exercise.
In order to effectively ensure the safety and stability of production and operation during the National Day and Mid Autumn Festival holidays, and create a safe and peaceful festive atmosphere, on September 24th, Chairman and General Manager Cheng Jianliang led relevant personnel to conduct in-depth safety inspections of the new and old factory areas in groups.
On September 9th, the audit team of Suzhou Energy Conservation Supervision Center came to the factory to carry out energy-saving supervision work on the "Newly built 50000 ton/year green and environmentally friendly differentiated chemical fiber project". The core of this supervision is the implementation of energy-saving laws, regulations, rules, and standards, with a focus on verifying the compliance of energy management throughout the entire project process. The supervision team reviewed materials such as equipment ledger, production and sales data, energy consumption report, project energy-saving review procedures, and energy management system. After reviewing the materials and analyzing the energy data, the audit team finally confirmed that the project meets the national and local energy-saving requirements, and Changshu Polyester successfully passed the energy-saving supervision.
On the morning of September 3rd, a grand ceremony was held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War.
On the afternoon of September 2nd, Zhou Xiao, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Minister of Propaganda Department, and Minister of United Front Work Department, accompanied by Ni Yemin, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, visited Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd. for research. The Chairman and General Manager of the company, Cheng Jianliang, introduced to the research group the company's good operating situation this year, as well as the development of new products, application areas of various products, and differentiated development. He also thanked the Municipal Party Committee and Government, and the Party Committee and Government of Dongbang Town for their long-term concern and support for Changshu Polyester. Standing Committee member Zhou affirmed the development direction of the company and encouraged it to further refine, specialize, optimize, and strengthen, making more contributions to the local social development in Dongbang.
On the afternoon of August 28th, Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd. held the third and fourth member representative and employee representative conferences of the trade union. The meeting was chaired by Zou Xiaoya, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, and attended by 58 representatives. Party branch secretaries, leaders of mass organizations, shareholders, middle-level deputy and above cadres, technical talents at or above the assistant level, and undergraduate (excluding probationary period) and above personnel were invited to attend the meeting.
