On June 16th, the key technology and industrialization appraisal meeting for efficient preparation of multifunctional fine fiber high-strength polyester filament was successfully held at Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd. This conference is led and organized by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, with industry experts, town leaders, representatives from project partner universities and industry chain partner enterprises attending the conference.
The meeting was chaired by Li Lu, the project manager of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China National Textile and Apparel Council. At the beginning of the meeting, the host introduced the attending guests one by one and announced the list of experts of the appraisal committee.
The appraisal committee is composed of seven experts: Academician Cheng Bowen from Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Professor Gao Qiang from Nantong University, Senior Engineer Jin Gaoling from the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, Professor level Senior Engineer Mei Feng from the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center, Professor level Senior Engineer Feng Qidu from Haiyang Technology Co., Ltd., Senior Engineer Feng Xinxing from the Military Supply Engineering Technology Research Institute of the Academy of Military Sciences, and Senior Engineer Chen Liqun from Quanzhou Haitian Materials Technology Co., Ltd. Academician Cheng Bowen serves as the chairman of the appraisal committee.
Cheng Jianliang, Chairman and General Manager of Changshu Polyester, delivered a welcome speech, and Gu Xiangmin, Deputy Mayor of Changshu City, delivered a speech.
After entering the special appraisal stage, the project team representative Sun Bin reported on the work report, technical report, novelty search report, testing report, and user report. The appraisal committee carefully listened to the report, conducted inquiry and discussion on process innovation, product performance, and market prospects, and then held closed door discussions to form professional appraisal opinions. After comprehensive evaluation, the appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, among which the key technologies of multi head flexible high-strength polyester filament preparation technology and high-strength polyester FDY preparation of high-strength polyester DTY have reached the international leading level. It is agreed to pass the appraisal and recommended to further explore the market and expand promotion and application.
Cheng Jianliang, Chairman and General Manager of Changshu Polyester, expressed sincere gratitude to the leaders and experts who have shown concern, support, and assistance in the development of Changshu Polyester. He stated that the successful passing of the appraisal meeting is a new starting point, but it is by no means the end point. The valuable opinions and suggestions put forward by experts are invaluable and are the wealth of our product's continuous optimization and upgrading. Next, we will combine the expert opinions to do a good job in the follow-up work.
