In order to enhance the ability of employees to deal with sudden accidents, Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd. conducted two emergency drills on February 3, 2026, focusing on the leakage and injury accidents of biphenyl furnaces. The on-site operators and relevant leaders of the spinning and winding sections of Lida Business Unit and Polyester Business Unit participated in the drills to promote prevention and strengthen safety barriers.
From 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm on the same day, the two business units successively launched drills. In the biphenyl furnace leakage drill, after simulating equipment leakage, on-site personnel quickly reported it, wore protective equipment in a standardized manner, closed valves and cut off power according to procedures, monitored pressure changes, and prepared for maintenance after the equipment cooled down to safety standards. The entire process strictly followed fire prevention, ventilation and other protective requirements. The injury accident drill focuses on common risks in the operation. After simulating personnel accidentally cutting, on-site personnel quickly carry out temporary treatments such as wound disinfection, bandaging, and hemostasis, report in a timely manner, and accompany them to wait for rescue vehicles to take them to the hospital.
