

On June 5th, the "Yu Gong Yi Ye" Industrial Workers Empowerment Action of Changshu Federation of Trade Unions visited Changshu Polyester and conducted on-site practical training on 6S&visual implementation.

Mr. Cheng, on behalf of the company's management, congratulates the successful start of this training session. He made demands to the participating employees: firstly, to enhance their ideological awareness and deeply understand the core values of 6S management; Secondly, we should listen attentively, apply what we have learned, master practical methods, and carry out 6S activities well in combination with the actual situation of the position; The third is to firmly implement and promote the normalization and long-term implementation of 6S management, consolidating the effectiveness of management. At the end of the speech, in light of the two recent fire accidents in Suzhou and Changshu, Mr. Cheng emphasized the importance of safety work and required all staff to strictly abide by various safety regulations such as fire prevention, high-altitude operations, on-site vehicle driving, and live working, in order to build a solid defense line for safety production.
This training focuses on the core content of 6S: organizing, distinguishing item selection, and timely cleaning unused items; Rectification, following the principle of "three determinations and one standard", achieving positioning, volume, and quantity, and posting labels to ensure quick retrieval within 30 seconds; Cleaning, regularly cleaning the site, leaving no hygiene blind spots; Clean up, consolidate previous achievements, and maintain the cleanliness of the site; Literacy, internalizing rules in the heart, cultivating the habit of standardized homework; Safety, prioritize safety, and comprehensively investigate all types of hidden dangers.

The lecturer combined real-life cases to explain practical skills for implementation. From the standardized placement of production materials and spare parts, to the organization and optimization of office areas, and then to the application of trace positioning and visual management, we use intuitive methods to help everyone understand improvement ideas. At the same time, it is important to interpret the on-site behavior norms, requiring items to be placed horizontally and vertically, channels to be unobstructed, and materials to be cleared in a timely manner, so that on-site management can be based on evidence.
Safety is also the focus of this training. The lecturer analyzed the three major safety risks of personnel, equipment, and environment based on safety regulations, listed common hazards such as electricity, equipment protection, on-site access, and operation, and emphasized the safety concepts of "four simultaneities", "four no harm", and "four no let go", reminding everyone to always tighten the safety string.
In the future, Changshu Polyester will continue to deepen 6S on-site management, normalize on-site rectification and optimization, strictly implement various safety production requirements, guide all employees to integrate standardized, normalized, and safe operation concepts into daily work, and continuously consolidate the foundation of enterprise production management.
