2025-06-25

June is the 24th "Safety Production Month" nationwide, with the theme of "Everyone talks about safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies - finding safety hazards around us". To effectively enhance employees' awareness of safety precautions, enable them to master safety knowledge and emergency skills, and become the first person responsible for life safety. On June 14th, the company invited Teacher Cheng Jun to the factory to conduct a special training on "Safety Production Month".

Background and significance of Safety Production Month

Safety Production Month is an important window to strengthen the public's awareness of safety. Teacher Cheng Jun takes us back to its development process: Since the first national "Safety Month" activity was launched in 1980, Safety Production Month has gone through more than 40 years. Every year, through rich activities, safety knowledge is popularized and safety culture is promoted.

How to identify safety hazards around you

Hidden dangers are the breeding ground for accidents. Teacher Cheng Jun explained in depth the definition of accident hidden dangers: they refer to unsafe behaviors of people, unsafe conditions of objects, management defects, and environmental factors that may lead to accidents in production and operation activities. He emphasized that the investigation of hidden dangers requires the participation of all personnel and efforts should be made from the above four dimensions.

Six prevention "homework risks and countermeasures

Teacher Cheng Jun emphasized the four high-risk scenarios in the "six defenses" and sounded the safety alarm for everyone by combining cases and preventive measures: 1 Mechanical injury: Risk is caused by unsafe human behavior, unsafe conditions of objects, environmental factors, and management deficiencies. Preventive measures: Strictly follow operating procedures, improve equipment protection facilities, and eliminate "risky operations". 2. Electric shock accidents: violation of operating procedures, aging of circuits, lack of knowledge of safe electricity use, etc. Preventive measures: Insulation, screen protection and spacing, grounding, installation of leakage protection devices, use safe voltage, standardize electrical procedures, and improve management measures. 3. Falling from heights: Failure to fasten safety belts, lack of protective barriers on the work platform, etc. Preventive measures: Make good use of the "Three Treasures", protect the "Four Ports", protect the "Five Edges", strictly control the "Ten Passes" of the scaffolding, develop construction plans and safety technical measures for high-altitude operations, develop emergency plans for accidents and conduct regular drills, and equip escape devices for high-altitude operations. 4. Accidents involving specialized motor vehicles in the factory: speeding, blind spot collisions, etc. Preventive measures: Drivers must hold valid certificates, vehicles should be regularly maintained, and warning signs should be set up in the work area.

Safety Management Measures for Outsourced Operations

In response to the risks of outsourcing operations, Professor Cheng Jun proposed the "three principles" of safety management: strict qualification review, verification of contractor qualifications and files, and clarification of the conditions and risks required for outsourcing projects; Full coverage of process supervision: clarify the safety responsibilities of both parties, sign a safety agreement, strengthen on-site management, enhance on-site supervision and risk disclosure; Emergency linkage never slackens: Develop joint emergency plans to ensure rapid response to emergencies and guarantee construction safety.

Through this training, not only have the safety qualities and emergency response capabilities of the trainees been improved, but the company's safety management level has also been further enhanced. Safety is no small matter, take preventive measures before they happen! Let's take the 2025 Safety Production Month as an opportunity to practice the concept of "everyone talks about safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies", actively identify hidden dangers around us, enhance emergency response capabilities, and jointly build a solid safety defense line!
