On August 18th, Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd. conducted training for junior paramedics at the Education and Training Center. This training specially invited Professor Zhu Jing from the Training Department of Changshu Medical Emergency Center to give a lecture, aiming to enhance the emergency rescue ability of employees.
During the cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Heimlich first aid sessions, Teacher Zhu Jing provided a detailed explanation of the operational steps and essentials of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as well as the key techniques of Heimlich first aid in dealing with airway foreign body obstruction. She also conducted on-site demonstrations, allowing employees to have a more intuitive and clear understanding of these two first aid methods.
The trauma emergency guide section covers practical skills such as hemostasis, bandaging, fracture fixation, and handling. Teacher Zhu Jing introduced various effective methods of hemostasis and bandaging techniques for different trauma situations, explained the principles and precautions of fracture fixation, as well as how to safely and correctly transport the injured to avoid secondary injuries.
In addition, Teacher Zhu Jing also introduced the working principle, operation process, and precautions during the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED) in a clear and concise manner. He emphasized that AED can play a crucial role in emergency treatment of cardiac arrest, and mastering its usage can greatly improve the success rate of rescue.
After the training, the junior paramedics tested their learning outcomes through test papers. Through this primary first aid training, the paramedics have basically mastered the emergency rescue knowledge and operation methods of "self rescue and mutual rescue", and have prepared preliminary skills for the first aid scenarios that may be encountered in their work.
